You begin in Alfama (Moorish tiles, washing lines, the hum of the old town), then climb to the great miradouros where the whole city falls open below you, before following the river west to Belém, where the Jerónimos Monastery and the Tower keep watch over the water that once carried Portugal to the world.

How long is the day?
About 7 hours, door to door, with pick-up and drop-off at your Lisbon hotel. Time enough for both the old town and Belém without rushing.
Full day or half day?
The half-day (4 hours) is a brisk first taste of the city. The full day adds Belém in depth, the great viewpoints and museums, and the room to linger: the better choice if it's your only day for Lisbon.
Are entrance tickets included?
No. Monument and museum entrance tickets, and meals, are not included. We pre-book tickets on your behalf where it helps you skip the queues.
